Your Good News Is in There. You Just Have to Look for It.

Good News Tuesday works because you train yourself to look, and the looking changes what you find. Your day goes sideways from the moment you wake up. It’s cold. You’ve got a headache. The fun dream didn’t set the tone it promised. You put on a hoodie and find a Slurpee in the slush and that becomes the win.

The bigger story is a 21-year-old on a frozen roof, shingles in both hands, converse sneakers, and a slip that sent him over the edge. He was tied off. The reason he was tied off is a conversation that got dismissed, pushed back on, and eventually stuck. A text arrives: your kid fell off a roof. He’s dangling. He’s fine. Some stories arrive as bad news and resolve into good because of something that happened long before the fall.

What comes from a bad place can still land as good news. That’s not spin. That’s the whole point of Tuesday.
