NEW – The Most Boring Money Advice Is the Best Money Advice

Financial literacy resources are everywhere and you’ve probably trusted the wrong ones. You ask AI and get a wall of text. You watch TikTok and get a sales pitch. You call your bank and they tell you to fill out a form section that turns out to be theirs, not yours. Somewhere between the noise and the fine print is the answer, and it’s a lot more boring than you were promised.

There is a version of you that has read all the right articles, bookmarked the right videos, and still has no idea what to do next. That gap between knowing and doing is exactly where most people get stuck. And the frustrating part is that the information you actually need has been sitting on the Government of Canada website the whole time, free, readable, and completely unglamorous.

Knowing what an RSP is and knowing what to do with yours are two completely different problems. The sources worth trusting are the ones nobody shares because they’re not trying to sell you anything. And when the facts finally line up with your actual life, that is when the boring stuff starts to feel like freedom.
