Humanoid robots have arrived at Toyota Canada’s Woodstock, Ontario factory, one of the largest automotive facilities in North America. Toyota assessed every model available and chose Digit, a short purple robot with oversized lamp eyes made by Agility Robotics. The reason: Digit’s AI adapts on the spot to whatever container or configuration it encounters on the floor.
In Stockholm, researchers handed Google Gemini $25,000 and told it to run a cafe. The AI, named Mona, chose the menu, acquired the permits, wrote job ads, interviewed applicants, and hired human staff. It has been running the operation for just over a week. Complaints go to a phone mounted on the wall.
Power Wash Simulator 2 is out now. A Star Wars expansion arrives this summer. X-Wings, TIE fighters, and bantha poo await.
