Shiftheads – Success Couldn’t Heal Him. Walking the Camino Did

Rocco Rossi had a corner office, a closing cheque in his pocket, and a life built on the idea that he who dies with the most toys wins, until an ad on a Toronto subway car cracked something open that years of work had kept buried.

What came after that moment turned into a promise, one he carried into the CEO’s office at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, and a mission to make a life-saving device as common as a fire extinguisher. Rocco talks about what that promise eventually cost him, and what it gave back.

Years later a phone call arrived from a stranger, tied to that same promise in a way that still catches him off guard when he tells it. Rocco Rossi has now walked the Camino de Santiago twenty-four times, and this is the story underneath all those kilometres.
