Netflix Will Pay for Your $400,000 Wedding. There’s One Catch.

Wedding budget math is brutal and someone just found the loophole. If you got engaged on Love is Blind, Netflix covers the wedding. Florals alone run $50,000. The tent can hit $120,000. Total package: somewhere between three and four hundred thousand dollars, on the house. The catch is you had to fall in love through a wall in ten days without seeing the other person.

Love is Blind is in its tenth season. It started in 2020 as a pandemic comfort show built on a genuinely insane premise: no visuals, no physical contact, an engagement required before you ever lay eyes on each other. Some of it produced real couples. Cameron and Lauren got engaged on the show, had a child, and are doing well. Some of it produced a cancelled show called Who’s Your Daddy, where a woman had to guess which of ten men was her biological father. Reality TV contains multitudes.

Watching Love is Blind as a single person and watching it as someone already engaged are two completely different experiences. What reads as entertaining chaos starts reading as a mirror. The budget conversation hits differently when the numbers are real.
