Two Weeks Ceasefire. Naming a Crater. The Toilet Is Broken. Good News Tuesday Is On.

Good News Tuesday Trump Iran ceasefire landed about twenty minutes before showtime. Trump agrees to suspend the bombing of Iran for two weeks, pending the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier in the day he said a civilization would end tonight. The CTV News headline arrived at 6:45 Eastern and the show took it at face value and moved forward.

The other news is from space. A crater on the far side of the moon was named Carol after the commander Reid Wiseman’s wife, who died before the mission launched. She was considered part of the team. He flew around the dark side of the moon and her name is there now. That landed quietly alongside the news about the ceasefire and it is the kind of moment that deserves its own space.

The Artemis 2 toilet is broken. A jar of Nutella floated through the livestream in complete silence and looked so deliberate that people initially assumed it was a promotional stunt. It was not. Nutella has not paid for any of this and people are already recreating the floating jar with other products. This is also science.
